This training reminded us that every baby is expected to cry within the first minute of birth, and it's our duty as skilled birth attendants to make that happen.
On behalf of Umunduka PHC in Okigwe LGA and all the DAC facilities in Okigwe, We appreciate the DAC team members for their supportive supervision in our various facilities yesterday. You guys are wonderful, may the good Lord continue to bless each and every one of us for the good work we're doing.
In terms of accountability and direct delivery of drugs and commodities to the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) facilities, one of the successes of the Drug Management Agency has been the Drug Revolving Facility (DRF) using the Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) Matrix supported by HSDF.
Owerri Municipal says a very BIG THANK YOU to all our resource persons and all the team in DAC and HSDF for their highly supportive mentorship and supervision to our facility today, and also coming at the right time when our consumables were needed most. THE MANAGEMENT, ENTIRE STAFF AND STUDENTS WHO WERE ENGAGED TODAY AT HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL SAYS THANK YOU AND MORE GREASE TO YOUR ELBOWS. IT'S NOT EASY REACHING OUT TO US.
I have learned a lot more from the Kaduna State PHC Management Capacity Strengthening Plan (KPMSP) than the OICs themselves. The entire exercise has created an avenue for us to engage directly with the Facility Managers. It has shown us that the Primary Health Care Under One Roof (PHCUOR) as we previously implemented did not percolate down to the facilities. It was essentially limited to the Zonal and LGA levels.
Please, permit me to thank the whole HSDF team for your tremendous support to our state. Our health workers are beginning to appreciate the essence of the eMTCT program. Data elements are not just abstracts required by the State Ministry of Health, but health workers are taking it now as indicators for assessing their contributions to the health of infants.
Stay up to date with HSDF’s latest milestones, events, and initiatives as we continue driving impact in health, nutrition, and development.
