Nigeria is experiencing a rise in non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension (HTN), cancer, and injuries. Owing to the lack of recent or granular estimates on the incremental costs of care and management at the primary health care level, we conducted a costing study to estimate the supply-side costs of providing a package of essential health services including NCDs, with a focus on diabetes mellitus and hypertension.
