The Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation (HSDF) participated in the 2nd Africa Primary Health Care Forum (APHCF 2026), contributing to conversations on strengthening primary health care systems across Africa through evidence, innovation, and sustainable financing.

𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 presented findings from the KSSDP Financial Management Assessment, highlighting opportunities to strengthen financial accountability and resource management within PHC facilities.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶 shared lessons from HSDF’s community-based hypertension and diabetes screening initiative, demonstrating how data can inform PHC planning, service delivery, and financing decisions.

𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗵𝘂 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳 showcased how State of Nutrition Reports are helping governments use state-specific evidence to prioritize interventions and improve resource allocation.

HSDF also contributed to the panel session, 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁: 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗛𝗖 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆, 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, moderated by 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲, which explored practical approaches to building resilient frontline health systems across Africa.

Through these engagements, HSDF reinforced the value of evidence-driven decision-making and integrated approaches to advancing equitable and sustainable primary health care.
