HSDF, currently engaged by The World Bank as Knowledge Management and Learning partners for nutrition is providing capacity building and knowledge management support to the ANRiN project implementation team at the 3rd Peer Learning Collaborative, themed “Reaching underserved Population: Navigating Insecurity, Difficult Terrain, and Socio-Cultural Barriers”.

The 3-day event, which commenced on Thursday, October 5th, at the Abuja NAF Conference Center, seeks to provide a platform for nutrition stakeholders in Nigeria to collaborate and share knowledge and valuable experiences in a bid to find innovative solutions to challenges and improve access to hard-to-reach communities across the 12 ANRiN states.

Speaking in her opening remarks, the National Project Manager for ANRiN, Dr. Ojuolape Solanke, expressed her gratitude to all stakeholders and highlighted some of the challenges being faced on the project, including limited access to target populations due to insecurity, difficult terrain, and socio-cultural barriers. She also thanked the technical planning committee, which included HSDF, for their efforts in bringing the workshop to life and encouraged participants to leverage the knowledge and insights gained from the workshop to make a positive impact on their communities.

The event will also feature a field trip to the National Polio Emergency Operation Center (EOC) in Garki, Abuja.
