The Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation (HSDF) participated in a 2-day USAID Local Works Africa Summit held at the USAID Learning Centre, which commenced on October 10, 2024, in Pretoria, South Africa. The summit brought together local partners and USAID staff to exchange ideas and showcase successful projects driving development across Africa.

As part of the Gallery Walk, where implementing partners presented their initiatives, Mr. Isaac Awua-Boateng, HSDF’s Country Engagement Manager for Ghana, represented the organization by showcasing the Connect and Learn for Sustainable Associations (CLOSA) Project. During his presentation, Awua-Boateng highlighted key milestones and success stories from the project, emphasizing its positive impact on sustainable development in Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal.

The summit provided an invaluable opportunity for HSDF to share insights from the CLOSA Project with a broad range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration and learning among organizations striving to achieve sustainable community development across Africa.

The CLOSA project continues to build a strong, multi-country knowledge base, promoting adaptive learning and sustainable practices among private sector associations in Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana.
