Our CLOSA project team recently attended the FCT MSME Trade Fair, hosted by NASSI and in collaboration with the FCT Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation (FCT-DSTI) and supported by CLOSA. The event, themed “Scaling Your Business: Tips & Strategies for MSMEs”, aimed at empowering small and medium enterprises by strengthening member capacities, promoting innovation, and creating market access.
CLOSA’s participation underscored our commitment to fostering sustainable development through partnerships, while exploring collaborations with FCT-DSTI’s Technical Acquisition Program and Gender-Based Violence Units.
The Connect and Learn for Sustainable Associations (CLOSA) project, is funded by the USAID West Africa Mission, and seeks to increase the sustainability and commercial viability of private sector associations (PSAs) in West Africa by developing a robust multi-country knowledge base on building sustainable PSAs and supporting adaptive learning across multiple associations. We are excited about opening new opportunities for other PSAs to organize similar trade fairs, contributing to economic growth and empowering local businesses!
