About Tamilore Areola
Ms. Tamilore Areola was an employee at HSDF from 2017 to 2020. She began her career as an intern at HSDF and then returned upon graduation as an employee. She reveled in her work and found it aligned with her enthusiasm for helping others and improving health outcomes in Nigeria. Throughout her time at HSDF, she embodied our values and excelled at her work.

She was very passionate about the leadership at such a young age. She founded the New Path Success Institute, a platform for helping people actualize their dreams; and through her YouTube channel, she shared faith-based discussions. Everyone who encountered her was immediately aware of her compassionate, diligent, and service-oriented spirit.

This Internship strives to accelerate the career development of young professionals with the passion and drive to make a difference in the health and social sector in Nigeria and Africa at large, by availing them the opportunity “to solve problems through apprenticeship.”
This opportunity is open to one Intern annually for a period of three to six months where the selected intern will gain hands-on experience on one or more challenging and rewarding projects – focused on developing different skillsets for a successful career. During the internship, the Intern will participate in different trainings and will also be assigned a supervisor/mentor who will also teach and provide guidance on the learning journey.
The intern will enjoy networking opportunities and interacting across the organization. S/he will be mentored by seasoned veterans and have the opportunity of shadowing them where applicable. Upon completion of the internship, the intern would provide a written report and make a formal presentation of his/her internship to the organization.
Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
• Should be a current student or recent graduate from any discipline, with no more than three years of formal experience.
• Demonstrate keen interest, and commitment to creating a positive impact in the health and social sectors.
• Have a positive outlook and be service-oriented.
• Be diligent, hardworking, and ready to take on new and challenging responsibilities.
• Demonstrate high levels of motivation, enthusiasm, personal initiative, ownership mindset, and drive.
