Over the past year, the Maternal Health Quality Improvement (QI) Collaborative, comprising 23 public and private health facilities across Ifako Ijaiye and Epe LGAs, has successfully implemented 14 innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing maternal outcomes.

To ensure the sustainability of these improvements, Project Aisha hosted a two-day Implementation Review Meeting on Tuesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Dover Hotel in Ikeja. This event brought together 50 Quality Improvement (QI) focal persons from participating facilities and representatives from the Lagos State Primary Healthcare Board (LSPHCB). Together, the participants reviewed performance data, prioritized new QI initiatives, and shared experiences to build on past successes.

Project Aisha remains committed to driving quality improvement through collaboration, capacity building, and continuous mentoring. Our goal is to foster innovative approaches that reduce preventable maternal deaths in selected facilities across Nigeria.
