Abolade Oyelere, yesterday, delivered an insightful presentation at the AfHEA conference, showcasing the success of the Kaduna State PHC Management Capacity Strengthening Project (KPMSP) in transforming Primary Health Care (PHC) management across the state.
Through targeted training in 7 key areas—data management, quality improvement, financial management, facility management, planning, community relations, supply chain and inventory management, and human resources management—the project made significant impact.
Some key outcomes from the project include:
1. Strengthened capacity of 148 PHC Officers-in-Charge to use data for decision-making
2. Empowerment to develop and implement effective Quarterly Business Plans
3. Dramatic reduction in absenteeism, improving service delivery for communities.
These achievements highlight the impact of data and strategy in enhancing healthcare systems and outcomes.
